Parents to be asked views before any Smartphone ban

Based on the example of the It Takes A Village voluntary No Smartphone code, primary schools will survey parents for their views under new guidelines to be discussed at Government level today.

Education Minister Norma Foley will bring a memo to Cabinet setting out the guidelines for primary schools seeking to introduce the smartphone ban.
